“A logging app that respects the way hams actually operate — and the server they already run.”
— Wavelog Mobile project
Flutter Riverpod Offline-first AGPL-3.0
01

Built on your own Wavelog server

No third-party cloud, no vendor lock-in — the app talks directly to the self-hosted Wavelog install you already trust.

02

Written by an operator, for operators

Every screen exists because a real QSO, a real contest, or a real DXpedition needed it.

03

Offline-first logging

Log from the field with no signal — QSOs queue locally and sync the moment you are back online.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before installing Wavelog Mobile.

Is Wavelog Mobile free? +

Yes. Wavelog Mobile is completely free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Do I need a Wavelog server to use this app? +

Yes — Wavelog Mobile is a companion app for a self-hosted Wavelog installation (v3.2.0 or later). It is not a standalone logbook; it connects to your own Wavelog server over the official API v2, so your amateur radio log stays on infrastructure you control.

Does Wavelog Mobile work offline? +

Yes. QSO logging is offline-first: contacts you log without a connection queue locally and sync automatically the moment your device is back online.

What Android version do I need? +

Android 7.0 (API 24) or higher.

What languages is Wavelog Mobile available in? +

English, Turkish, German, Polish, Russian, French, Italian, Japanese and Korean, maintained by community translators on Weblate.

Does Wavelog Mobile support DXCC, contests and POTA/SOTA? +

Yes. DXCC worked/confirmed tracking is matched against cty.dat for entity-accurate counts, there is a dedicated contest logging mode with serial/exchange fields, and POTA/SOTA/WWFF reference fields are auto-filled on ADIF export.
